Carbon Credit Corp. (CCC) was formed out of research undertaken at both the Johnson School of Business at Cornell University in Dec 2005, and Queen’s School of Business and the former BIOCAP Canada Foundation (a national bio-economy research foundation.) The company was conceived from a “Carbon Farming” research project completed at Cornell University (NY) under the auspices of the Base-of-the-Pyramid (BoP) Learning Lab think-tank.

Carbon Credit Corp has grown from its humble beginnings at founder Shawn Burn’s kitchen table to a growing company of seven employees, and several part-time contractors with headquarters in downtown Vancouver, BC.

In its short history, Carbon Credit Corp has helped our clients show leadership in environmental sustainability, and has assisted thousands of farmers and several nature conservancies implement and monetize climate-friendly land-use practices.
